Yes, absolutely. ESB - Firewood uses a secure payment system with 256-bit SSL encryption. Your bank details are never stored on our servers and are processed directly by our approved payment provider, which complies with the PCI DSS standard.

In addition, we use 3D Secure technology which redirects you to your bank's page to confirm your identity when making card payments.

Several reasons can explain a refusal of payment:

• Card limit reached: Check with your bank
• Error in information: Check the number, expiry date and security code
• Temporary problem with your bank: Please try again in a few minutes
• Enhanced security: Your bank may block the transaction for security reasons.

We advise you to:

1. Check your card information
2. Contact your bank to verify authorization
3. Try with another card if available
4. Use another payment method

It depends on the payment method chosen:

• Credit card: Immediate debit or pre-authorization which becomes final upon shipment
• PayPal: Immediate debit
• Bank transfer: After receipt in our account (2-3 business days)
• Cheque: After clearing (several days)
• Bancontact: Immediate debit

For bank cards, a pre-authorization may appear on your account before being replaced by the final debit when your order is shipped.

Currently, ESB - Firewood does not offer payment in installments directly on our website. However:

• For large orders (stoves, large quantities of wood > €2000), we can explore financing options upon request
• Some bank cards themselves offer payment in installments
• We are currently working on integrating installment payment solutions

• Order not processed: Modification possible by contacting us
• Order processed: Modification not possible
